Bucks Mill Recreation Area has two 60-foot youth baseball or softball fields (one fenced/one open) and one 90-foot regulation baseball field (fenced).  Bucks Mill Recreation Area has several soccer fields, small-sided and practice fields that are typically set up each fall for use with town youth recreational and travel soccer programs. The use of all athletic fields is by permit only.

Activity Areas Bucks Mill Recreation Area has several open field areas used for soccer in season.  The use of fields is by permit only.

Equestrian Facilities Horses are welcome to share the five-thousand-meter trail system (multiple use jogging, hiking & horseback riding). It is the site of many of the Paces sponsored by the Colts Neck Trail Riders Club.  

Bucks Mill Recreation Area can accommodate events that need open areas, pavilion, PA system, and electricity.

Fishing Areas Bucks Mill Recreation Area has two large ponds stocked for fishing. No fishing permit is required by Colts Neck Township.

Hiking Trails Bucks Mill Recreation Area has a 5000-meter trail system (multiple use jogging, hiking & horseback riding) through fields and woods. Bicycles and vehicles are not permitted on the trails.

Picnic Areas Bucks Mill Recreation Area is home to the largest picnic area in town and has a pavilion, grills and tables. To reserve the picnic area please email cnrecpks@coltsneck.org. Grill use and/or caterer require a Fire Permit.  If you are having an event, please contact our office for a Special Event Application at least 35 days prior to the event date.   

Community Center building has a small kitchen, restrooms, and heat (no air conditoning). The building is used by local town sports groups and Troop 290 Boy Scouts.  The building may also be rented for gatherings and meetings.  Please email cnrecpks@coltsneck.org for additional information.
